The upside down downside up

In a project dealing with layout at the Cologne International School of Design we worked on the play Die Sonate und die drei Herren by Jean Tardieu, consisting of a conversation between three men. My idea was to give each character one corner, with one typeface representing each character. Initially I wanted to create a situation in which actors could practise the play facing each other by having the sheets placed between each other on the floor. It finally ended up with something that must be rotated to be able to follow the conversation. But since the conversation doesn’t go from A to B.and from B to C and back, I used opacity, weight and size to guide the reader through the conversation.
